TV TO LAPTOP QUESTION FOR THE THIRD TIME – 10 POINTS TO BEST ANSWER!!!!?
This is the 3rd time I have asked this question, so here is all the additional info you need: I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-224NR Notebook PC. I have an HDTV and my cable box info is down there. VVVVVV Please read this one more time and tell me what I need.
I need help connecting my laptop to the TV. I have absoultly no cords to do this and need to know what to go buy for this to work. My laptop does not have an S Video port/slot or a spot for an HDMI cable and I have a plain, Motorola DVR box. There is no wireless internet with the DVR, so I need to know what cord to buy. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! TEN POINTS TO BEST ANSWER!!!
The TV is a Sanyo DP37647. The Motorola DVR is a DCT6416 III. Any more info, let me know.
Delmar S, what do you mean hook the cable to the laptop?
ok on the back of most laptops there is a external monitor port go get your self a DVI cable connect the Cable to the rear of the laptop then connect to the DVI port on the rear of the TV then use your remote to set the TV to DVI , unless there is something wrong with the port of the laptop then this will work .
in the chance your laptop has no external port you will have to purchase a usb tv card .
