Laptop, IPOD and Transferring Files?
Lets start at the beginning. I got an IPOD and I burned all my CD’s into my desktop and then synced it to my IPOD. Well my desktop crashed and has been dead since. I just got a laptop today, an ACER ONE. As you probably know this laptop (notebook) doesn’t have a CD Rom. So now I am stuck with trying to figure out how to get all my music from my old computer onto the ACER. I am also wondering if the rumors are true that if I plug in my IPOD to this new computer ans sync it to it that it will erase all my songs off my IPOD and I would have to start over. I am not the most computer literate person in the world. So if you have an answer for me I would appreciate it if it was in laman’s terms. Essentially I want all my music from my old PC onto my laptop and I would like to be able to plug in my IPOD to the ACER and be able to download more music onto my IPOD as well as get music from ITunes. Can anyone out there help me. Thanks so much if you can.
if all the music is on your ipod, you can transfer the songs from your ipod to your new computer. plug your ipod to your computer and instead of transferring data from your computer, transfer your music from your ipod. you should have the option to do so after you plug in the usb cord. just wait a couple seconds and something will pop up asking what you want to do.
