hi is this a good laptop to buy, just for watching videos, and school work. also will it last for 6 years if i keep it in good condition and updated.

also what does it mean if it says Wireless 802.11b/g
Yes this will be a great system for your purposes. 802.11G just means that the laptop is wireless equipped. You can access the internet wirelessly in any Wi-Fi hotspots.
