how do I connect the internet to my acer aspire one?
I got an acer aspire one laptop/notebook. I don’t know how to connect it to the internet. I have the cisco linksys wireless router. Do I need an adapter? Is this the wrong router? What do I need to do?
Any wireless router will work. You just have to find the router’s signal on your computer (and sign in to the network potentially). Your laptop should have a built in wireless card. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to wirelessly use the internet until you do.
I’m assuming you are using Windows. Click Start at the bottom of the screen, the open your Control Panel. Select the category Network and Internet Connections. There should be a wireless network setup wizard in there, and will help guide you through the process of setting everything up.
