I appreciate your responses, but:
1. I do not have another $130, and I can not wait to “save” it.
2. These computers are going for much more on eBay (I checked the completed auctions).
3. You can not get a laptop for less than $100, I have looked everywhere.
No, absolutely not.
That is a laptop that is outdated for at least two-three years.
If I were you, I would save up another $130 and buy a new laptop from walmart (or some major chain store that offer major price reduction)that goes for $199+. It may not be the best laptop in the world, but the life cycle of the new laptop will definitely last longer than the $130 laptop you’re considering to buy.
Let me give you an idea of what the lowest specification of an average laptop look like:
1.6ghz-2.0ghz cpu (dual core)
1gb ram(minimum)
60gb hard drive(at least, though you’re more than likely to find up to 120gb)
dvd+/u rw(standard)
wireless
window xp
(3 in 1 card reader) not required unless you need it
4 usb 2.0 ports
better/longer/more efficient battery life(than the $130 one)
Finally, a tip for you, Xmas/thanksgiving holiday is a good time to buy cheap computer stuff, good luck.
