New Notebook Computer Help?
Hi,
I’m buying a notebook computer and i have a few questions.
I know that it comes with a trial of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. Do i really NEED to purchase it?? I mean will I really use it? I have Microsoft Office 2003 on my desktop and never used it. I would be using my computer for collge work and entertainment.
Another question I have is what’s the best way to protect it from viruses and things like that.
I know there’s Norton Anti-Virus but what are other options?

Save yourself a lot of money by using OpenOffice (it’s free) instead of MS Office and use AVG anti-virus (also free) instead of Norton or McAfee.
