*Used for temporary travel for business
*Used by photography so will be uploading photos weekly editing them and them removing them
*Want to keep the budget low since its only temporary
*My son bought the Toshiba when it was only 348.00 but the Acer seems like my price since the Toshiba has went back up 100.00
*Would like to keep this between 350-420 even if its refurbished I dont care
I would avoid the Toshiba based solely on the Celeron processor. I don’t know what you use for photo editing, but really all a Celeron is good for is basic web and email. You put photoshop and there and it will be painfully slow. The clock speed there does not say much.
That being said, I haven’t seen a lot of people satisfied with acers either. The Toshiba is definitely the better brand, but the processor ruins the whole package. Plus if you HAVE to use Vista, Premium is the way to go.
