What computer is better for college: Mac or Dell laptop?
Well i’m going to be going to college in 2 years and would like to have a good idea on what type of computer I want. This computer is going to be a laptop and i would like on of the small ones (its a little cheaper that way). I would also (if i can) get a laptop with a built in webcam, good memory and fast processor. P.S. im also thinking about going into photography, but i also want a computer that is just good for anything along with art.
Neither, Macs are good, but they are overpriced a ton, while Dell recently was sued because they were using refurbished hard drives in their computers (they ended up failing and would have to be replace, this has happened to several people I know with Dell and HP PCs).
The computers I would recommend are: ASUS, Fujistu, Toshiba, Cyberpower, and Alienware.
Cyberpower and Alienware make gaming laptops, but they perform very well doing day-to-day task.
ASUS, Toshiba, and Fujistu are pretty general laptops, they’re not crazy fast or anything, but they provide a stable and reliable workspace.
On another note, Fujistu also makes tablets that work well when editing photos.
Some helpful advice:
-Don’t buy a computer under $600 (the ones at that price are horrible)
-Purchase off newegg.com (Great prices, no tax, occasional free shipping).
