COMPAQ LAPTOPS INDIA NOTEBOOKS
Using a laptop from India in USA (Wireless network)?
I brought my Compaq presario notebook V3256TU (Windows XP) from India to USA.now i am having trouble connecting my notebook to any wireless network..sometimes it works(for 5-10 mins) and sometimes it simply doesn’t work at all…although it displays the available networks.
is it something related with different Wireless settings in different countries?
are these networks reliable? if others are using it and you cannot log in.. yes you have some issue.
Mostly you can detect a network, as the frequencies are in the range, but the internet is down. In such case, you can see a wifi network, but it doesnot work.
there cannot be any issue if it works some times and some times not. Take your friends alongwith and try at same location, different machines.
