Dell E1705 Question, URGENT!!!?
This Notebook comes with Windows Vista preinstalled, Can I install Windows XP Home…. I’ve read on some forums that quite a few people have experienced problems…. however no straight answers…. Hence Please help me “YES/NO” “YOUR EXPERIENCE”
Yes, but you’ll have to reformat your hard drive, meaning you will lose all the drivers (Video, sound, etc).
Why not try Vista? There is a “Windows XP compatibility mode” option for “legacy applications” but not all programs will run on Vista. Still, it may work for you. Why not try it, and roll back to XP if you have a problem?
