Hard Disk GB and battery problem
Here is some information that buyers and users of laptops need to know. Users of laptop battery at low price puts a lot of problem. Here are some of the issues they face with their laptops.
Where is the missing space I paid? The answer to this question is: The operating system indicates the capacity of hard disk using the assumption that 1 MB is equal to 1,048,576 bytes. This is technically correct. Hardware manufacturers calculate the size a bit different. They consider to be 1MB equals 1,000,000 bytes. You can see how this can cause confusion! If the disc is advertised as 20.0GB (20,000,000,000 bytes), the operating system see it as a 19.07GB (20000000000 / 1048576 / 1000 = 19.07). The complete 20000000000 bytes are actually there.
