Hey guyz im looking into a new laptop!! Im selling my desktop at the moment which is 3.0ghz, 80gig, Xp home & 1Gb Ram.
Ive decided to only buy a laptop/notebook if it can perform as well or even better then my desktop. Above are the choices i came up with which fit my budget.
What im curious about is which one would you choose and why? for some reason the Dell vostro is just over £500 and its specification makes it tempting but the price compared to the others is quite low which makes me suspicious.
I found the tradingtech one on ebay, never heard of them which is why im hesistant at the moment so if you’ve tried it out plz tell me how it worked for you.
IM just looking for someone to tell me the best choice for my money, as i am constantly on my pc over 4 hours a day. Internet mostly downloading, so speed is essential. Id also like to play second life without my pc qoing crazy lol. Going for laptop cuz im tired of waitin for a free pc at uni!

the inspirion 1720 was also pretty attractive as compared to the hp laptops, but unfortunately the dell people would not oblige with win xp on that
