I’m going to buy a gaming laptop soon, and I’m just really curious if the one I have my eyes on is worth it.?

Well you won’t know the requirements for the game until it’s close to being released.
That gaming laptop is good. Go with the Core 2 Extreme Quad and SLI dual Geforce GTX 280M, if price is not an issue.
