The HP DV2 701 TX comes with Intel 1.67GHz Core2 Duo Processor, 1GB RAM which is upgradeable up-to 4GB and 160GB HDD. It has a DVD Writer, 14.1″ display, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS video card, incorporated modem and sound card, Wi-Fi, Touchpad mouse, in-built speakers and microphone and a Built-in camera. It comes with interfaces like Express Card slot, S-Video port, 2 USB ports, FireWire port, Bluetooth, infrared port and a 5 in 1 Digital Media Reader.

The memory of the HP DV2 701 TX is the process Core2 Duo T5450 Cache Memory which is 1024 KB. This form of memory can be considered as an intermediary between the main physical RAM and the CPU. The best thing to be noticed over here is that the Notebooks has a Fingerprint reader for security. No one can operate your laptop without it being turned on by you.
