Where is the best place to sell my HP G60 notebook for the best price so I can get a new laptop?
Right now I’m trying to sell it so I can get an upgrade to a better computer for gaming. All I need is a low end gaming laptop/desktop ( Cheap! ) so that I can play WoW without getting 5fps with all settings on low. Please give me a price range that I should have and any computers that you can suggest for me. If you can, please link the site where you got the info from, and thanks everybody!
Ebay will probably not get you a good price on things you sell, since there is too much competition. Craigslist is probably a better bet, though you may have to be patient.
On the other hand, Ebay is the best place to find good bargains on hardware, though you need to be patient and careful. If you’re not good with fixing things, then make sure the seller offers a decent warranty. Don’t bid until the last minute (set up an alarm for yourself or use Esnipe). And always research what you’re looking at by doing a web search on it to check prices & specifications.
You can get a better deal on a gaming desktop than you can on a gaming laptop, generally. You can always upgrade parts on a desktop, but not usually on a laptop. Anything with a Core 2 Duo or better and a relatively modern GPU (not one built into the motherboard chipset) will do for your purposes. Make sure it’s got 2GB of RAM or better (which you can easily expand).
