HP NOTEBOOKS PC HELP
Help! HP notebook problem?
The bar along the bottom o my HP notebook pc has gone very low. I can get the little arrow to turn into a double headed arrow, but can not pull it up.
Therefore, I can’t find the start button, can’t get into the programs on my pc. So, can’t turn the pc off, can’t hibernate it. Cant use any programs that are in my hard drive.
How the heck do I get this start button back?
Okay, wasnt sure how to adjust monitor as nightwarrior suggested.
Riht clicking brings up the little box with properties in it.
Adjusting the resolution didn’t help. That bar is just plain stuck at the bottom of the monitor. I can see the edge of it, but it won’t move at all.
However, I tried pressing on the windows button and did get my start menu to come up. Thank you. That was my biggest concern.
What would I do without guys like you who know these things?
try adjusting the resolution , right click in the area of the desktop, click Properties, click settings, then under Screen resolution, slide the slider to the left, adjust it until you get it the way you want it. If its Vista, then right click an area of the desktop, and click Personalize. Also to see the start menu, you can press the Windows flag button on the keyboard
