LAPTOP COMPUTERS ADVERTISEMENT

Why am i having all these problems with my laptop and how can i fix them?
around a month ago my laptop, which worked great in everyway started to go crazy. first everytime i try and open anything this window pops up saying “bad image….” and i have to hit ok on like 3 of them before what i first clicked even can open. about 2 weeks later, i can’t even go to any websites because when i click the link it says “jumping” and takes me to an advertisement kind of website everytime!! and now today i can’t even use the internet because it wont connect, its says there anren’t any wireless networks that it can connect to even though our other laptops can connect.
my internet now can’t be used and im starting college and need my laptop to work.
i take care of it, i never go to scam websites or anything. ive tried system restore, cleaning out my computer, etc. and its not working.
Do any of you know about these issues im having and how i can reverse them? thanks!!
You have a very heavy spyware infection. It is likely due to either your boyfriend or brother looking at adult websites, or some games you have installed that install spyware.
You are going to need to backup your needed data to an external source, like an external hard drive, ipod, whatever. Just make sure you have your music, homework, financial data backed up in case you lose everything.
Here are a few things you can do in the mean time, but I stress, you will need to erase windows and reisntall it sooner or later.
Go to start, run or search if you have Vista, and type msconfig and press enter. This brings you to the system configuration utility. In here, click on the tab to the far right that says “startup”, then uncheck everything in here, do not worry, you can recheck them later, this is only for diagnostics. Then click on the tab that says, Services, near the bottom of this window, you are going to see a box that says “hide all microsoft services” put a check in there first before doing anything, once a check is in there, uncheck everything else, then click apply, close, and restart.
Your computer will restart.
Then you need to go to start, control panel, and go to where you can uninstall programs, it will either say, add remove programs, or something else depending on your version of windows, you probably know where it is.
You need to uninstall any program that says, bar, tool, tool bar, any games you do not play anymore, any thing that says search in them, or anything related to google, msn, yahoo, ask, or anythign else that you know you don’t want. Then apply close, reboot, system should be a lot faster, and hopefully will be on the internet.
If that does not work, you are going to need to look at formatinng windows and reinstalling. You will definitely need to back up your data first. Depending on what type of computer you have, you may be able to easily format and reinstall windows using a recovery partition, you may need to get in contact with them abuot that, or look up instructions on how to do this on their website.
Cheers!
