OPPO Brings Its First Tablet To Australia
OPPO Australia will launch its first tablet in the Australian market, the Pad Air, expanding its product ecosystem that already includes smartphones, wearables and headphones.
The Pad Air is equipped with a two-tone metallic finish. With OPPO Glow, the 3D texture on the top of the back panel combines unwanted fingerprints and grooves for a better grip. The bottom of the back panel is 0.15mm sanded oak, smooth but not slippery. With a weight of 440 grams and a thickness of 6.94 mm, the OPPO Pad Air feels light and comfortable.
Commenting on the launch, OPPO Australia CEO Michael Tran believes the Pad Air is a natural extension of OPPO's product portfolio.
“As a company, we've worked hard to develop an ecosystem of products that our consumers love. Our tablet has been in development for a long time, but we want to make sure the product is perfect before we release it. We are confident that we will succeed," Chan said.
The new OPPO Pad Air works with ColorOS for Pad, which supports modern touch interactions such as two-finger split screen, four-finger floating window and smart sidebar. There are also two new multi-screen features for users to stay connected across all devices.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile platform, the tablet's octa-core architecture allows users to work and play even while multitasking. The tablet features a TÜV Rheinland eye care certified 10.36-inch 2K HD display and a low blue light eye protector that effectively reduces eye fatigue.
In addition, OPPO Pad Air is equipped with four large speakers and supports Dolby Atmos for immersive listening with high quality and clear sound. Thanks to the large 7100 mAh battery, users can watch videos for 12 hours, participate in video conferences for 15 hours or read e-books for 16 hours.

The OPPO Pad Air is available at the OPPO Australia online store for $379.
To celebrate the launch of the OPPO Pad Air, it will be bundled with any purchase of the OPPO Find X5 Pro ($1,799) or OPPO Find X5 ($1,399). Customers will receive an OPPO Smart Cover ($79 value). The promotion is valid until November 24, 2022.
