TECNO Rewards Winners For Creativity In CAMON Short Film Challenge

Due to its popularity, this year's Camon Short Film Challenge has generated a lot of anticipation and excitement. So when the time came, they all took part in the CAMON BALURREN challenge, confident that their efforts would be rewarded.

Powered by the TECNO CAMON 19 flagship device launched earlier this year, the competition offers content creators a unique opportunity to showcase and promote their work.
In the first phase, creative minds create a brilliant and exciting two-minute film using any smartphone. Films can be comedy, fiction, drama or any other genre chosen by the participants. Movies should have a complete story with a beginning, middle and end. Despite many excellent entries from across the country, only 19 contestants made it to the next stage.
After a rigorous selection process, the top 19 contestants were selected and tasked with making a good short film using the TECNO Camon 19. The final stage of the competition saw very creative submissions as the short film had an exciting story.
However, the jury did not select winners based on excellence and sustainability in various categories. Congratulations to all the winners.

Critic Company is a filmmaking group from Kaduna, Nigeria known for making sci-fi films using mobile phones. This collective work crosses borders in various ways: from internationally recognized platforms such as the BBC, Reuters, Al-Jazeera, indie film festivals and Gestalten's Art of Protest, to collaborations with well-known brands.
TECNO Nigeria has partnered with Institut Française Nigeria to provide equipment to participants in a workshop hosted by The Critics on November 19, 2022 and Sunday November 20, 2022 at Institut Française Nigeria and a first in the art-tech area.
