Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo X90 series, the successor to the Vivo X80 series, which is confirmed to launch in China on November 22. The company also unveiled renders of its upcoming high-end phone. Here is an overview.

Vivo's latest Weibo post confirms that Vivo will launch the X90 series, which includes the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+, on November 22 at 7:00 PM China Time (4:30 PM IST) . Vivo TWS 3 will also follow.

Like the X80 series, the Vivo X90 will also feature a ZEISS-compatible camera. We also see the design of the Vivo X90, which features a large circular rear camera notch (consisting of four bezels) and a leather back panel . The X90 series is confirmed to come in Blue, Red and Black color variants. The front panel is hidden, but we expect a centrally placed hole.

The Vivo X90 series also features the recently announced V2 imaging chip. The X90 Pro+ is expected to come with a Sony IMX989 1-inch primary camera. There is no word on the camera setup for the other two models.

Inside, Vivo has already confirmed that the X90 will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, which may also be the case with the X90 Pro. However, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is likely to be announced at the Snapdragon Summit 2022 on November 15.

Also, Vivo X90 phones can support 120W fast charging, BOE display and more . It is also said to run Android 13 based on the OriginOS 3 operating system. More details are expected to be revealed after the announcement of the Vivo X90 series. Therefore, it is better to wait for preparation for more coherent concepts. Watch this space for more updates.
