Global OPPO Find N2 Flip Coming Soon, Several Checkpoints Reached
OPPO has confirmed that its first foldable clamshell smartphone is coming to the global market. The recently launched OPPO Find N2 Flip in China looks set to hit the global market after passing various checkpoints.
Global OPPO Find N2 Flip will arrive in various locations soon
Find N2 Flip appeared on FCC, BIS, Bluetooth SIG and HTML5 certification sites These certification sites revealed some specifications of the phone, live image shared by FCC.
The phone has FCC model number "CPH2437". It measures 166.2mm in height and 75.2mm in width, which is the same height and width as the Find N2 Flip announced in China.
FCC confirms Android 13 pre-installed, with OPPO's ColorOS 13, global rollout apparent. The listing also says it's a flip phone, which is further confirmation. It has two batteries, a 3,110mAh unit and a 1,190mAh battery. The total battery capacity of the phone is 4,300mAh.
The listing confirms that it supports 67W wired fast charging, which actually confirms the same supercharger that the Find N2 Flip has in China. Wireless charging is not supported.
The Bluetooth SIG certification confirms the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 in devices, and the phone scored 474 out of 555 on the HTML5Test website, confirming the list above Android 13.
The Chinese are almost identical to the international model
In general, the global variant of the phone can be compared to a Chinese phone except for other software. Both are running ColorOS 13 based on Android 13, but the Chinese variant ships without Google services and more China-focused apps. In China, ColorOS 13 differs in the basic design, the menus are slightly different, according to the functionality.
The phone has a 6.8-inch foldable main display with 2520 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. A secondary 3.26-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 720 x 382 is included.We expect the international model to offer up to 12GB or 16GB of RAM.
A 50-megapixel primary camera is supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone has stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. MediaTek manufactures Dimension 9000+ as China. However, there is a small chance that OPPO will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead.
The global variant of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is expected to launch in Q1 2023.
