Samsung Will Update These Galaxy Devices To Android 13
After rolling out to Pixel phones earlier this year, Android 13 is making its way to Samsung Galaxy devices outside of the beta program. Here are the devices that have already received the update and those that will receive it in the coming months.
What's new in Android 13 on Samsung devices?
Android 13 is quite a minor update compared to the previous Android 12. While this update has completely redesigned the Pixel phone platform and introduced the Material You theme with custom colors, this year's update is much smaller overall.

Android 13 brings several system-level changes to Samsung phones, including more colors for Samsung's Material You, Color Palette. Themed desktop icons now support third-party apps. There are also various privacy features at lower levels, but most of the innovations in Galaxy smartphones come from Samsung.
One UI 5.0 is Samsung's latest skin for Android 13 and it brings some new features. This includes "Privacy Discovery," a new privacy and security panel similar to what Google creates when sharing photos; new lock screen with more customizable features; "Service mode", when a phone that hides user data is sent for repair; collection widgets; and more The update was supposed to bring multiplayer support eventually, but Samsung removed it during the beta program.
Android 13 is now available on these Samsung devices
As of October 2022, Samsung has released Android 13 for all three phones. On October 24, One UI 5.0 with Android 13 began rolling out to all Galaxy S22 series devices worldwide, with delays on carrier models and some regions.

Samsung Galaxy S devices with Android 13
In October 2022, Samsung updated three devices to Android 13, so the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra received the latest version of Android and One UI 5.0. The update rolled out globally on October 24, but is still rolling out to select regional variants and carrier models.
In November 2022, Samsung rolled out the Android 13 update significantly. On November 7, the update rolled out to Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S20 series devices. The update has rolled out to some European regions, including Germany and Switzerland, and is expected to roll out to other regions soon. On November 14, the Android 13 update was rolling out to the Galaxy S21 in India, Kazakhstan, and Russia, as well as some carriers in the United States.
Meanwhile, Samsung "Fan Edition" devices started receiving Android 13 updates on November 21. This includes the Galaxy S20 FE in Russia and the Galaxy S21 FE in other regions.
In early December, Samsung finally rolled out Android 13 to its unlocked Galaxy S21 lineup in the US, largely completing its global rollout. The Galaxy S10 Lite was also recently updated, making it the only Galaxy S10 device eligible for it.

Galaxy devices with Android 13 foldable
Samsung also started rolling out Android 13 to its foldable devices from mid-November, but in a limited way. As of November 11, Samsung rolled out Android 13 to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, but only to those who had previously tested the update in beta. The latest update was rolled out to unlocked owners in the US, but it's expected to roll out to more beta testers like all other owners soon. As of November 17th, the update is widely available to non-beta users, but still in a small number of countries. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are also receiving the Android 13 global update for those participating in the beta program.
At the end of November, the Android 13 update was rolled out to Samsung's 2020 foldable devices, including both versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip.

Samsung Galaxy Note devices running Android 13
Since Samsung discontinued the Galaxy Note line, only a few Note devices will officially see Android 13. In fact, it is the Galaxy Note 20 series that will start receiving the update in early November 2022. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra got Android 13 for the first time in Switzerland ahead of its US launch on November 15.
The only other Galaxy Note device expected to receive the update is the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, which received its last major update to Android 13 on November 21 in France. Location in the United States.

Samsung Galaxy A devices with Android 13
The Android 13 update is rolling out quickly and is already available on some Galaxy A series devices. The Galaxy A53 was first spotted online on November 9, when the update rolled out in Europe and the UK. The Galaxy A33 arrived in Europe on November 10, and the Galaxy A73 in Malaysia a day later. The Galaxy A52 also received an update on November 17, becoming Samsung's first updated mid-range device of 2021. The 2020 Galaxy A71 was first updated to Android 13 on November 22.
Around Thanksgiving, Samsung updated the Galaxy A72 starting in Russia and the Galaxy A22 in India. The Galaxy A52 also received an update like the Galaxy A52 with more features.

Galaxy tablet with Android 13
The first Android tablets to be updated to Android 13 were the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series on November 14th. The update started for the 5G versions of each tablet in some European countries, but has since been rolled out to Wi-Fi models in other regions. . The Galaxy Tab S7 series also received the update on November 22 in some regions.

Other Samsung devices with Android 13
Apart from Samsung's flagship product, there are other devices getting Android 13 as well. This includes the powerful XCover 6 Pro, which was updated alongside the Galaxy Tab S8 series on November 14. On November 15, Samsung released an update to the Galaxy M52 5G and Galaxy M32 5G in some markets.
The Galaxy XCover 5, Galaxy M33, Galaxy F42, Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy M33 have also been updated in recent weeks.

What to expect next?
When will my Samsung device get Android 13?
When will Galaxy devices get Android 13? If Samsung's usual pattern continues, most current and supported flagship devices will receive the update within weeks, while budget devices and other regional exclusives will receive the update in 2023.
In general, most Samsung smartphones are guaranteed to receive major Android updates for at least three years after release, which means that there is quite a long list of devices that need to be updated. Below you can check the Samsung phone update policy.

In a message sent to Korean users through the Samsung Members program, Samsung confirmed an initial list of devices and a roadmap for the Android 13 release. The panel was also supported by reports from Malaysia and India. This timeline will vary slightly depending on region and Samsung speed, but it's a good idea of what to expect.

Looking at Samsung's 2022 Android 12 update list, it's almost guaranteed that more devices that are n't included in this initial roadmap will be added over time, but this gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
