After an impressive performance with the Find X5 Pro, which excels in various categories including display, battery and design, OPPO is back with the next version of its flagship phone. The OEM doesn't seem to be banking on its success this year as the OPPO Find X6 Pro will be nothing more than an upgrade.
OPPO Find X6 Pro brings big changes to the various aspects of the phone, all revolving around the rear cameras, which is the main feature of the device. Let's break down everything you need to know about the Find X6 Pro.
OPPO Find X6 Pro: Design

Starting with the hardware, OPPO has opted for a new design philosophy for the X6 Pro. Ditching the previous monolithic design, the X6 Pro features a circular camera setup with three primary cameras. You read that right, not one, but three main cameras. We'll talk about that a little later.
Unlike last year, the body of this phone does not use nanoscale microcrystalline ceramic materials. Instead, it is coated with polished AG glass to give it a metallic look. However, brown color also includes vegetable skin.
On the front of the device is a 6.82-inch HDR 10+ display that offers Dolby Vision and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. OPPO claims this display is the brightest ever in a smartphone, offering 2,500 nits of brightness.
In terms of protection, the phone uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This version of Gorilla Glass has 30% better drop resistance than the previous generation. It also has IP68 water and dust resistance level.
OPPO Find X6 Pro. Cameras

Let's move on to the main attraction: the cameras. As mentioned above, Find X6 Pro has three main cameras. According to the company, this phone is designed to usher in a new era with three main cameras without the hassles that multi-camera systems typically have to deal with. This system has a 1-inch wide-angle camera, a 1/1.56-inch ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 1/1.56-inch periscope telephoto lens.
Wide camera
The primary camera uses a 1-inch IMX989 sensor that offers an aperture of f/1.8. A special 1G+7P high purity lens module has been added to this lens. OPPO claims this is the largest light-sensitive sensor area of any smartphone camera. As a result, it is said to be able to collect more light than any other wide-angle smartphone.
Compared to the Find X5 Pro, it collects 142% more light with a wider aperture and has a 156% larger sensor. This eight-segment lens also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Ultra wide angle camera
In another first, OPPO claims to pack the phone with a larger sensor than any wide-angle camera to date. It has a 1/1.56-inch IMX890 lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 110-degree field of view. This is designed to reduce lens flare and distortion while facilitating straight lines and clean edges.
Periscope telephoto lens
The triple-camera system is complemented by a 1/1.56-inch periscope telephoto lens. Again boasting the largest telephoto lens on a smartphone, this is the first to feature periscope zoom since the Find X2. With an aperture of F/2.6, this sensor can capture low-light environments perfectly. It also offers full optical-grade hexagonal hybrid zoom and captures 4K video in image quality superior to any optical quintuple telephoto lens.
Camera for selfies
With such a focus on rear cameras, it's easy to forget about front-facing selfies. The selfie camera uses the same 32MP IMX709 lens as the X5 Pro camera. Although it's the same hardware, it benefits from the new RAW processing.
