Tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted that the Redmi 12C and Redmi Note 12 4G will launch globally and in India. The launch date has not been announced yet.
Redmi 12C Price, Specs (Expected)
In China, the Redmi 12C was launched at a starting price of 699 Yuan (roughly Rs. 8,400) for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options are priced at CNY 799 (Rs. 9,600) and CNY 899 (Rs. 10,800 approx.) respectively. The smartphone was launched in Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green and Lavender colors.
The Redmi 12C features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera at the front. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging adapter.
Specifications of Redmi Note 12 4G
The company has yet to reveal any specs for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 4G, but a leak from SnoopyTech recently revealed that the phone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor.
The phone is likely to come with a 13MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and may house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is said to have an IP53 rating and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
