Some details of the Vivo X Flip have just come to light. As you may have noticed from the name itself, this is a complex pattern. Once released, it will be Vivo's first foldable smartphone.
Vivo X Flip specification details have just surfaced
The Flip brand has become synonymous with foldable phones. Samsung has been using it for years and OPPO has embraced it with the OPPO Find N2 Flip. These two companies probably have the most popular foldable phones on the market right now.
Anyway, the Vivo X Flip has been around before, but we haven't heard of it in a long time. Well, the popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some details about the device.
Flip says the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It's not Qualcomm's most powerful offering right now, but it's still an impressive processor with great power consumption. It is definitely a good choice.
A large folding screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate will be included
The phone will have a 6.8-inch FullHD+ folding main screen with a hole for the camera in the middle. By the way, this panel will offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The surface of the plate will be square, but the party did not reveal details about it.
The Vivo will have 12 GB of RAM, while the phone will have a 4400 mAh battery. 44W wired charging will be supported, while wireless charging is unlikely to be offered.
The phone will have two cameras at the rear.
The rear camera will include a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX866 sensor) and a 12 MP secondary camera (Sony IMX663 sensor). He also noted that a side-mounted fingerprint scanner will be used and that the rear camera island will sit in the upper left corner. By the way, it will be round.
This phone is expected to launch in China next month, but Vivo has yet to confirm that.
Details about the Vivo X Flip, a new flip cover, hit Android headlines first.
