Denver Weekend Guide: Music Festival, Sneaker Con And More
Here's a rundown of our events to watch this weekend.
1. 🎹 Renaissance Festival
The "Veradzinar" festival , which consists of 21 performances, will take place on Saturday in the "Civic Center" park.
Why is it important? Regeneration is Denver's first and largest home and tech gathering. Between Regenerate, 4/20 and another festival later this year, Civic Center Park is what residents are waiting for; a serious concert venue.
Headliners include Diplo, CamelPhat, Malaa, Sohmi, Charlotte de Witte and Masteria. Tickets:

- Be smart - don't forget to drink water. Only empty plastic clear water bottles are allowed at the festival, but there is a free water station on site.
2. 🏒 Avalanche vs. Kraken: The Second Game
Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs between the Avalanche and the Seattle Kraken takes place on Thursday at 7:30 pm at the Ball Arena. Tickets:

3. 🧚♀ Holiday with tulips and elves
Came for the fairy queen, stayed for the tulips. Head to the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder on Sunday from 1pm for games, live music and an afternoon parade. Details :
4. 🎤 Ice Cube (with Westside Boogie)
Rap legend Ice Cube will perform Friday night at the Mission Ballroom with Compton Westside rapper Boogie. Tickets:
5. ⚽️ Colorado Rapids vs. The city of St. Louis
The Rapids will face the Western Conference leader on Saturday at 7:30 pm at Dickey Sporting Goods Park. Ticket .
6. 🖼 Show "Spring Awakening"
Visit Spring Awakening, a new exhibit at Bitfactory Gallery featuring the work of Cherry Creek Art Gallery's Colorado artists. The public is invited to the opening ceremony on Friday from 18:00 to 21:00.
7. 🕺 Your Red Bull Dance Denver Style
Support local dancers as they showcase their skills in individual competitions judged by the audience. Doors open Saturday at 5:00 p.m. The winner will represent Denver at Red Bull Dance Your Style. National Finals in Chicago on May 20. Ticket .
8. 🦐 Littleton Boiled Crab
Bring your Old Bay and oils to Living The Dream Brewing. Their lobster boil is open Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. Ticket .
9. 👟 Snickers Denver
On Saturday from noon to 7 p.m., attend the biggest sneaker event of the year at the Colorado Convention Center. Attendees will be able to find rare sneakers, meet influencers, play a sneaker quiz, and buy, sell, and trade sneakers and streetwear from over 200 vendors. Ticket .
