OPPO Find X6 Pro is the new camera-centric flagship that continues to receive accolades left and right. But how does it compare to the best Google products? Well, we're here to find out. We will be comparing Google Pixel 7 Pro with OPPO Find X6 Pro. Before we start, you should know that Find X6 Pro has just launched in China at the time of this review. We are not yet sure if it will go on the world market.
This means that if you import it, you need to download Google services, which is quite simple. You also have to deal with software created for the Chinese market, which differs slightly from the global version. You can find out more in our OPPO Find X6 Pro review. That said, let's start this comparison, shall we?

Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OPPO Find X6 Pro: Design
Visually, the two phones look very different. Yes, outwardly they are somewhat similar, but nothing else. Both devices are made of metal and glass, although the Find X6 Pro is also available in a vegan leather variant. This model combines vegan leather and glass back. On the front of both phones, you'll see curved displays and a central punch hole for the camera. The bezels of both devices are very thin.
But when we shoot it, things are very different. The back of the Pixel 7 Pro has an aluminum-coated camera viewfinder. The visor is attached to the frame on the left and right sides. It has three camera sensors and is very different from the usual camera island. The OPPO Find X6 Pro has a large circular camera area on the back, which looks pretty good compared to some of its other (competing) apps. There are three rooms inside.
OPPO Find X6 Pro is slightly taller, while its width is about the same, while Pixel 7 Pro is slightly wider. The thickness is also very similar, the difference is almost imperceptible. Pixel 7 Pro weighs 212 grams, while OPPO Find X6 Pro weighs 216 or 218 grams, depending on the model. Pixel 7 Pro has Gorilla Glass Victus on the back and OPPO Find X6 Pro has Gorilla Glass 5. Both phones are quite slippery, though OPPO Find X6 Pro's vegan leather is less slippery than the other. They feel great in the hand and look great. Still, it's a big phone, so keep that in mind.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OPPO Find X6 Pro: see
The Google Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) AMOLED LTPO display. This is a 120Hz (adaptive refresh rate) curved display. It supports HDR10+ content and reaches a maximum brightness of 1500 nits. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9 and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
OPPO Find X6 Pro is equipped with a 6.82-inch AMOLED LTPO3 QHD+ (3168 x 1440) screen. This panel is curved and can display a billion colors. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content. It also has an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of up to 2500 nits. At the time of writing, this is the brightest screen on any phone. This panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. OPPO Find X6 Pro also has a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio compared to it.
Honestly, both screens are great. They're bright, have excellent viewing angles, and are sharp enough. The black is also quite deep. However, OPPO Find X6 Pro has one big advantage - brightness. If you spend a lot of time in the sun, the Find X6 Pro is definitely your best choice. Watching outdoors is easier than with the Pixel 7 Pro. It also has better protection, but the difference isn't as significant as the difference in brightness.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OPPO Find X6 Pro: Performance
Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with Google Tensor G2 processor, while OPPO Find X6 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. However, Find X6 Pro has RAM (LPDDR5X) and faster storage (UFS 4.0). Pixel 7 Pro uses LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage.
These two smartphones are fast enough in day-to-day use that few people will notice the difference. However, OPPO Find X6 Pro is faster. You will notice it when you use them side by side. Otherwise, it won't make any difference to you as both are pretty fast. Now when it comes to gaming, the Find X6 Pro is a phone to watch out for. Pixel 7 Pro performs well unless you are talking about very demanding games, in which case you will notice some performance issues. However, Google never said it was a gaming phone, so… that's about it. However, it handles most games well. Note that Find X6 Pro has firmware developed for China, so Pixel 7 Pro will appeal to most of you in terms of software.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OPPO Find X6 Pro: battery
Both phones are equipped with a 5000mAh battery. Both smartphones offer decent battery life, though not as high as the Galaxy S23 Ultra and OnePlus 11. During our usage, the Pixel 7 Pro delivered around 7 hours of uninterrupted screen time. It is often possible to reach 7.5 hours, sometimes a little more. However, the OPPO Find X6 Pro can exceed the 8-hour limit and offers the best overall battery life.
However, it will all depend on what you do with your phone. We used both phones a lot during our time, even without playing much. The game is played for testing purposes only. If you're not a heavy user, you can even extend your battery life. It all depends on the programs you use, how often you use CPU-intensive tasks, and the signal you get throughout the day.
Pixel 7 Pro supports 23W wired charging, 23W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. OPPO Find X6 Pro supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. 10W , the charger is not included with Pixel 7 Pro. Find X6 Pro does exactly that. Undoubtedly, OPPO Find X6 Pro is superior to Pixel 7 Pro when it comes to charging. It offers faster wired and wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging is significantly faster as well.
Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OPPO Find X6 Pro: camera
The Google Pixel 7 Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (126-degree field of view), and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera (5x optical zoom). OPPO Find X6 Pro has a 50MP main camera (1-inch camera sensor), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera (110-degree field of view), and a 50MP periscopic telephoto camera (2.8x, 65mm lens) . . . OPPO Find X6 Pro probably has the best camera setup out there, while Google relies heavily on its software. Which of the two is better? Well, that's impossible to say. Both smartphones have excellent cameras, but they take different pictures.
The Pixel 7 Pro is very good when it comes to HDR, while the Find X6 Pro needs more optimization in this area. OPPO Find X6 Pro excels when it comes to portrait photography, macro photography and generally delivers excellent images. Thanks to the large camera sensor, there is natural bokeh when shooting with the main camera, and the company has done a good job optimizing the phone. Depending on the situation and zoom level, a telephoto lens can provide more detail, and an ultra-wide angle camera is excellent.
The two phones have contrasting images, but OPPO is more than Google. Find X6 Pro can give you moody shots in the dark as it is not afraid to leave dark areas while capturing a lot of details. Pixel 7 Pro tends to liven up dark shots, making them look unrealistic but still great. Honestly, it all depends on what you prefer. These two smartphones are undoubtedly in the top 5 best camera smartphones in the market right now especially when it comes to photography, if not the top 3.
You will find a set of stereo speakers on both phones. Both sets sound great. They have great highs, low lows, and a pretty wide soundstage overall. However, we like the sound of the OPPO flagship better, as it is a bit cleaner.
However, neither phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack. You need to use the Type-C port for wired connection. In terms of wireless devices, Pixel 7 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.2, while OPPO Find X6 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.3.
Phone Comparison: Google Pixel 7 Pro and OPPO Find X6 Pro make their first headlines on Android.
