Redmi Note 10S Is Getting Android 13Based MIUI 14 Update In India: All Details
Xiaomi has announced that it will release the MIUI 14 operating system update based on Android 13 to all Redmi Note 10S users in India. Updates come with new features and bring the latest firmware. The MIUI 14 update has received the March 2023 security patch. It also includes updated system apps, super icon support and new widgets. The Redmi Note 10S smartphone was released in May 2021 with MIUI 12.5 operating system based on Android 11.
MIUI India through its Twitter account has announced the launch of MIUI 14 based on Android 13 for Redmi Note 10S in India. The update will introduce several performance improvements along with other MIUI 14 features, including a new user interface, home screen super icons, animal widgets, faster app launches, system performance improvements, and longer battery life.
According to My Smartprice report, the latest MIUI 14 update is coming to Redmi Note 10S in India with firmware version V14.0.2.0.TKLINXM and March 2023 security patch. The update size is 3.2GB.
The MIUI 14 update on Redmi Note 10S can be downloaded using the MIUI Downloader. The smartphone was released in May 2021 and runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box. This will be the second major OS update for the Redmi smartphone.
Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display. This smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC coupled with a Mail-G76 MC4 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone company launched the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 10S in India in December 2021, priced at Rs 17,499. Meanwhile, it costs Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB model.
The phone has a quad camera setup led by a 64 MP main camera and a 13 MP selfie camera.
