Oppo Find N3: Everything You Need To Know

Oppo has challenged Samsung's dominance in the foldable smartphone market.

The excellent Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip are direct competitors to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, although the limited global release of the larger model means the Korean giant is currently in the lead.

Now a rumor has surfaced giving us some clues as to what Oppo might have in store for the next foldable. Here's what we know about the Oppo Find N3.

When will the Oppo Find N3 be released?

As you can see from the previous generation, Oppo released the Find N model in December.

Oppo Find N2 - December 2022

Oppo Find N - December 2021

In this diagram, we will see the Oppo Find N3 in December 2023 . However, the previous two versions are only for China. The smaller Find N2 Flip just got a global release, so hopefully Oppo will give the foldable another global push, but there's no guarantee.

If only for China, there will still be the expected OnePlus V Fold, which is made by the same company and should have the design and specs of most Oppo phones.

How much does the Oppo Find N3 cost?

There's no official word yet from Oppo on the potential price of the N3 Find, but we can revisit what's already been cataloged for some tips:

Oppo Find N2 (12GB / 256GB) – 7,999 yen (about $1,150 / £930)

Oppo Find N (8GB/256GB) - 7,699 yen (about $1,210 / £910)

As Oppo has kept prices relatively stable for the base model, we hope to repeat this for the third generation of the series. Of course, these are the prices for China, which means that if you want to import to other regions, you have to add various taxes and customs fees.

What new features will we see in the Oppo Find N3?

Oppo has been talking a lot about the innovations it's bringing to its next-gen foldable devices, but a number of rumors have surfaced detailing some of these improvements.

New design

What fans of the previous model might not like is a description that recently surfaced online via Tech Leaker's Weibo digital chat site, possibly the Find N3. The compact design that was the hallmark of previous iterations, which was a source of disappointment, could be replaced this time by an elongated design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The poster also mentions that the new model will be "super thin", so that Oppo can go from one dimension to another.

Camera upgrade

The optics of the Find N3 also attract attention, with the return of digital chat and a triple array with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, as well as an OIS, a 48 MP IMX581 ultra wide angle. And a 32-megapixel telephoto lens completes the periscope trinity.

The latest rumored details are that the phone will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Find N2, and a larger 4,805mAh battery. . N2 4520mAh battery.

That's all we've seen so far, but of course we'll update this article as more details become available. In the meantime, you can find out what's in store for the Oppo Find N3 by reading our guide to the best Android phones in 2023 and the best upcoming phones.
