The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic could arrive in late July, and we now have a good idea of what the two models will look like thanks to some leaked promotional images.
It's by the usually reliable WinFuture (via XDA Developers ) and shows the two smartwatches from almost every angle and in different colors. Samsung Galaxy Watch traditionalists will be happy to see the return of the classic model's rotating bezel.
The standard Galaxy Watch 6 comes in black, silver, and beige, and according to WinFuture, the same colors (plus a few others) will be offered for other Samsung products that will be unveiled at the Unpacked event in late July. For example, consider the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Tab S9.
As for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, we're only getting black and silver in this leak, though more may be available at launch. Maybe Samsung offers different colors in different regions, or maybe they reserve some colors in their online stores for people who order directly.
According to WinFuture, the dimensions of the Galaxy Watch 6 remain the same at 40mm or 44mm in the existing sizes, but the OLED displays are slightly larger. They are also said to be made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
As for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, the dimensions are said to be 43mm and 47mm due to the rotating bezel. We also expect a leather strap option for this more expensive model. Both the standard and classic models will be water resistant to 50 meters.
You may recall that the Galaxy Watch 4 had standard and classic variants, and last year we got the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, neither of which featured a rotating bezel for menu and feature controls. At least based on this leak, it looks like the Classic brand will return in 2023.
Everything will be revealed in just one month. we think Samsung's next big Unpacked event will take place in the last week of July. As for Galaxy Watch updates, we expect new health monitoring features and a faster processor inside.
