Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet on June 13 in India. This tablet marks Xiaomi's return to the Indian tablet market after a seven-year hiatus. The Pad 6 was first launched in China in April along with a "pro" version, but a pro version is unlikely to launch in India at this time.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is priced in China at 1,999 yuan (around £ 23,100) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,099 (approx. £ 24,250 ), while the higher-end 8GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,399 (approx. £ 27,700).
Xiaomi's previous tablet, the Pad 5, was launched in India at £ 26,999 for the 6GB/128GB version and £ 28,999 for the 6GB/256GB model. Before the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6, both variants of the Pad 5 were up to £ 1,000 off.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 in Chinese version is equipped with an 11-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a high refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 550 nits. The screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The performance of the tablet is fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, while a large 8840 mAh battery ensures its performance and supports 33W fast charging. .
Talking about specifications, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for photos and videos. It runs on MIUI 14 software based on Android 13. In China, Xiaomi offers additional accessories for the Pad 6, such as a dedicated keyboard and stylus. As stated by Xiaomi India, these accessories are expected to be launched in India as well. hype
Xiaomi Pad 6 features an elegant and lightweight design, all-metal construction, only 6.51 mm thick and 490 grams in weight. Please note that it is compatible with the second generation Xiaomi smartpen.
