Tecno is set to launch its Pova series of smartphones in India soon. The company has confirmed the launch of the new Tecno Pova 5 series via Amazon. He also hinted at the design of the upcoming phone, which will have RGB LED lights on the back. Last month, the company launched the Tecno Pova 5 4G smartphone in select markets. The phone sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
The Tecno Pova 5 series has been leaked via Amazon's promotional page, offering a first look at the rear design of the phone. The back of the phone is confirmed to have RGB LED lights. The design of the phone seems to be inspired by the Glyph interface of Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2. Additionally, the phone is expected to have a power button and a volume rocker on the right edge. Moreover, the company is yet to reveal any details about the upcoming phone including the design, specs and release date.
The Tecno Pova 5 series in India is expected to have two models, the Tecno Pova 5 and the Tecno Pova 5 Pro.
Last month, the company launched the Tecno Pova 5 4g in some global markets with a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 6000mAh battery. The phone supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The phone has a 6.78 inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of looks, the phone sports an AI dual rear camera module consisting of a 50 MP main sensor and a depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the Tecno Pova 5 has an 8 MP front camera. It is also equipped with two enhanced stereo speakers with DTS sound technology.
