There have been several foldable phones in recent weeks and months. We've seen new devices from various brands, including some that are making their debut in this space.
Now comes another one: Oppo Find N3 Flip. In a recent post on Weibo, the brand revealed that the device will be officially unveiled on August 29 and what to expect.
The display shows the gold-colored device that made the Oppo Find N2 Flip so popular. It is located next to a circular chamber with three sensors.
While nothing has been officially confirmed, we were hoping it would include a telephoto lens. This is not the case with any large foldable phone these days. The recently released all-singing-and-dancing Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is also lacking in functionality.
Some rumors suggest that it could use the same camera system as the Oppo Reno 10 Pro variant. If so, it's a good call. I recently used the regular version and was very impressed with the quality provided.
The camera is stamped with the Hasselblad logo. The two brands have been working together on camera technology for some time and are said to guarantee image quality.
We haven't seen many other rumors about this device, so there is still a lot to learn. But for fast charging, expect 67W wired charging.
It's not even the only device launching next week. A new smartwatch is also coming - the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. It has a unique and attractive case design with a rectangular shape that rises in the middle and extends to the bracelet.
Stainless steel with a ceramic base plate is used for the case. Don't get too excited: previous models in this range haven't been released internationally, so they may not be an option for Western markets.
Either way, it's an interesting announcement. We have less than a week to find out what's next for the series.
