The leaked Tecno Phantom V Flip features a single circular external display and a dual camera array.
The screen size is 1.32 inches while the matrix accommodates a 64MP autofocus lens.
The foldable device is said to have a 6.9-inch display and a battery capacity of 3900mAh.
The V Flip is rumored to be released in October.
Tecno is not offering a foldable phone to consumers this year as new leaks give us a glimpse of what the foldable phone will offer.
According to a rumor from NewZonely, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will have a circular outer display surrounded by a circular dual camera array (via PriceBaba). According to the report, the matrix includes a 64MP autofocus lens and a 13MP ultra-wide lens on the outside of the screen.
According to said specifications, the V Flip's unique circular AMOLED exterior display measures up to 1.32 inches. Inside, the leak suggests the phone will come with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, which will support the V Flip's 32MP center punch-style camera.
A foldable device could be powered by the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC instead of the same 9000 Plus chipset. The foldable device also offers a dual battery configuration of 1165mAh and 2735mAh, giving the V Flip a total battery capacity of 3900mAh, which is slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.
In terms of storage, the V Flip could hit the market with a rare combination of 8/256GB RAM and internal storage. According to the leak, the device may also follow other foldable phones that don't have an external memory card option for more storage.
In terms of software, consumers will likely have to settle for Android 13 and the company's HiOS 13 skin, just like the V Fold. Eventually, the V Flip would be available in Little Black, Film White and Periwinkle Purple.
This is not the first time the phone has been released. Live images of the periwinkle purple phone appeared on Weibo earlier this year. It looks like the phone will also be called the Phantom V Yoga, though it's unclear if that moniker will stick.

Unfortunately, no specific release date has been set yet, although Tecno is expected to start its promotional campaign for the V Flip in September. Considering this, it is believed that the device could be officially launched in October. Considering that the V Fold was first launched in India, the V Flip will follow the same mindset before launching in other markets around the world.
PriceBaba estimates that the V Flip will cost Rs 50,000 in India, or around $600. With the Tecno Phantom V Fold positioned as a more "affordable" foldable laptop, the company could take a similar approach here.
